Amiee is a ceramic artist based in Southern Vermont, creating both a wheel-thrown and slab-built functional pottery. Her work blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, emphasizing texture, form, and glaze experimentation.
Inspired by the natural landscapes of Vermont, Amiee incorporates organic textures and layered glazes to enhance the tactile and visual appeal of each piece. Whether shaping clay on the wheel or constructing forms by hand, she strives to create pottery that is both beautiful and functional-pieces meant to be used and appreciated in daily life.
Each piece is carefully crafted in her Vermont studio, where exploration of surface treatments and firing techniques results in unique, one-of-a-kind works. She works mostly in clay body.
