How do I purchase a Vermont Live Edge piece?
Looking for a Live Edge table, tabletop, countertop, bench, or coffee table of your own?- We always have kiln dried hardwood slabs and a few benches and/or tabletops on the showroom floor. The showroom is adjacent to The Vermont Bowl Company store at 111 West Main St., Wilmington, VT 05363, and is open 7 days a week 10am - 6pm each day. Buy a slab to DIY, or pick up a bench.
- Our inventory rotates and changes constantly, so if you're looking for something specific and are coming from far away, we suggest you email us at vtliveedge@vermontbowl.com or call us at 802-464-5296 ahead of your visit. You are always welcome to come in a look at what we have in the showroom!
- If you'd like to speak to someone about a live edge project, Tom our "live edge guy" is typically here Monday through Thursdays until 4pm, but we always suggest calling ahead to make sure he's able to talk with you - 802-464-5296. Company History
Vermont Live Edge Natural Wood Designs is a division of The Vermont Bowl Company. The items offered on this website are manufactured right here in the beautiful hills of Southern Vermont. What does that mean? Well, it means that your Live Edge Bench or other item has been produced by workers with a combined 50 years of woodworking craftsmanship. Live Edge Natural Wood products are simply the newest addition to our wide range of popular items designed and produced right here in our beautiful Green Mountain State for almost 60 years.
Quality
We could fill this paragraph with boasts about our quality control and the typical salesman's "Satisfaction Guaranteed" statement about the perfection of our products, but we don't need to. Let us just say instead that your happiness with and enjoyment of your purchase means as much to us as it does to you. We are a small factory in Vermont with workers who love what they do, and we take great pride in each and every Live Edge product we create. It's as simple as that!
Handmade in Vermont
You won't find big machines in our factory spitting out Live Edge cutting boards or serving pieces one after another as part of some rapid pace "pieces per hour" production line. Though we do utilize one-at-a-time hand processes along with high tech wood cutting machinery, we can assure you that the end result is a manufacturing process whereby the finished product has been worked by the skilled hands of craftspeople that have perfected their trade for years.
