This is our Green Mountain Bowl™ . We decided to examine the possibility of utilizing their long history and experience of wood turning and lamination to achieve the production of a range of Colonial-style Bowls. We wanted a bowl having a traditional appearance, which would be ecologically friendly and "Green". Not only is this bowl green in name, but because these bowls are made by the lamination of smaller wood pieces, it ensures that nothing goes to waste. Thus a collection of new, more Earth friendly bowls was born.
The construction process ensures that these are Earth-friendly bowls even at the largest diameter, and gives the bowl an attractive “quilted” look. As you handle any of the sizes of our Green Mountain Colonial Bowls™ the tactile shape, the texture and the depth of the figuring of the wood bring a pleasurable sense of the history of this type of bowl. The easy nesting of the different sizes makes for easy storage.
