Serving in Style
Once the kitchen prep, actual cooking or baking, and carving or chopping is done, then the next obvious step in the entertaining process is bringing your culinary creation to the table (ie "serving"). In our opinion this is the 2nd most enjoyable part of entertaining friends and family for dinner. Obviously sitting around the table and socializing is #1, but how you bring the food to the table is liken to artistry in motion. It's either just serving, or serving in style! And here's a tip, to truly surprise your guests, don't let on as to how you intend to serve the food until just before it's ready to be served. Keep those Salmon Boards, Crudites, or other serving pieces in the cupboard until... surprise!
The Pizza Board, highlighted in this video by Vermont Bowl Company owner John McLeod, is designed to turn an ordinary delivery pizza dinner into a meal you'll be proud to be serving in style. When you bring your favorite pizza to the table and serve it on a John McLeod Pizza Board, your guests know that when you serve dinner, they can expect that it's going to be a special dinner even if it's delivery.
