Our Euro wooden bowls have nothing to do with the currency in Europe. The Euro Bowl has all to do with the style of design associated with the Bauhaus period - a German style of architecture begun by Walter Gropius in 1918, characterized by a functionalist approach to design. The Euro is a wonderful piece of "retro" which has an immediate appeal to the modern eye. Good design styling is timeless and so we have brought back these wooden bowls that we first produced in the middle of last century and which has a worthy place on today's tabletop.
Please Note: Most of our products are available in several wood species, most notably Black Walnut, Yellow Birch, and Cherry. For more info. about which wood is which, visit our complete Information Page.
