An ever growing group of customers know John's history of trencher making, and share his enthusiasm for the unique qualities of these boards. The main purpose of these boards is for carving meats, which is why they are designed with a gradual slope so that juices run down to the well where they collect. Trencher boards also come in handy when cracking everything from lobster to stone crabs. No need to keep wiping down the board, let it do the work for you!
While these boards are intended for carving, they also make a wonderful charcuterie board for presenting your favorite appetizers.
The junior rectangle trencher is perfect for those smaller pieces of meat, like a delicious rib eye, tenderloin or small roasted chicken.
We offer these beautiful boards in either an elliptical or rectangular shape.
Please Note: Most of our products are available in several wood species, most notably Black Walnut, Yellow Birch, and Cherry. For more info. about which wood is which, visit our complete Information Page.
